Encoding problem

description

When using Razor views with Czech characters in them (ěščřžýáíéů etc.), Razor Generator will compile them but looses the encoding in the process and all the characters are substituted by question marks (it's not a question mark precisely, see attachement). I have followed all tutorials precisely but I haven't found any relevant encoding setting or anyone having similar issue with this.

I just made a change that should make the ansi case work. Please verify if you have a chance. The new build is 1.1.2

I think the issue can happen if your cshtml file is in UTF-8 but without the BOM (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Byte_order_mark). Can you check if that is the case? Normally, VS always creates files with the BOM, but some other editors don't.

I guess you can close this, I haven't found if the BOM was the issue, but the Czech characters are being parsed correctly now without me doing anything ... (our company has "Magic" in its name...)

alright, you can definitely close it now, it WAS the files' encoding problem....some files were in ANSI, i wonder who converted them...it works perfectly now

Still wondering whether we could handle this though. Do you know whether the same files work correctly when using Razor the standard way (i.e. without RazorGenerator)?
